Hydro Ground Support Systems (HGSS) is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced, hardworking people to join our touring workforce for the upcoming Australian and New Zealand summer season.

From stadium concerts and festivals to world-class touring productions, you’ll be working behind the scenes on some of the largest entertainment events in the region.
YOU’LL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE
✔ Previous live entertainment, staging or event labour experience
✔ Steel construction or structural assembly experience
✔ Rigging, truss or temporary structure experience
✔ Working at Heights, White Card or NZ equivalent
✔ Forklift, EWP, Telehandler or other plant tickets (advantage)
✔ A can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure
WHAT WE REQUIRE
This industry isn’t a 9–5.
This is a role where everyone pulls together to get the job done safely and on time. While we always aim to keep shifts as efficient as possible, working in live entertainment can sometimes mean adapting to unexpected delays. We’re looking for people who understand the nature of touring work and are ready to support the team in achieving the best outcome for every show.

• Reliable and punctual
• Safety minded
• Physically fit and ready for demanding work
• Comfortable travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand
• Able to work long days, nights and weekends when required
• Team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment

WHAT WE OFFER
💰 Contracted day rates from $350-$450 AUD (ABN required for subcontractor position)
✈️ Accommodation and transport provided when required for touring work

IDEAL APPLICANTS:

✔Steel construction or structural assembly experience
✔Knowledge of truss, roofing and temporary structures
✔Strong leadership and communication skills
✔White Card, Working at Heights (or NZ equivalent)
✔Ability to travel throughout Australia and New Zealand

Part-Time Welding and Fabrication Positions
Based in a small workshop and supporting major live entertainment projects across Australia and New Zealand, you'll help manufacture the structures behind some of the region's biggest concerts, festivals and touring productions.

Current position location:
Kyneton, Victoria
We’re looking for people who are:
✔ MIG, TIG or Stick welding experience
✔Steel and aluminium fabrication experience
✔Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
✔Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
✔A positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
✔White Card and relevant welding qualifications are highly regarded
